Care Group Discussion Questions

In the midst of the wilderness, David turned to God to find help in the shadow of his wings (v. 7).  Where do you typically turn when you are in the wilderness?  Are there places outside of God that you are tempted to turn to in order to find safety and help?

 

God is the great satisfier of souls and David was confident that God would satisfy his soul (v. 5).  How has God satisfied your soul when you have walked through the wilderness?

 

Can you identify with David’s thirst for God? (v. 1).  If your soul is dry, what should you do about it?   

 

David said, “earnestly I seek you” (v. 1).  How can you follow his example in earnestly seeking after God?  How can you take action to increase your thirst and longing for God?
