Poland Trip recap

In August 2011, CCK had the opportunity to send a team of VFC students to work alongside Kenny and Gina Mead who are serving as missionaries in northern Poland. The Mead’s daughter Kalista, attends CCK. While in Poland, the group spent time with the two primary churches that the Mead’s serve and also helped to lead a camp for teens from the churches and a local orphanage. The three primary goals of the trip were to:

1)      Encourage the churches, their pastors, and the Mead family;

2)      Share the Gospel in word and action with the teens attending the camp; and,

3)      Expand the global vision of the VFC students participating in the trip and stir their passion to serve on the UT campus and at CCK.

God was faithful to accomplish more than we could ask or think. May He be glorified as He continues to draw people to Himself through the local church in Poland.
