Bible Reading Plans - The makers of the English Standard Version of the Bible created a series of Bible reading plans on their website. These are helpful for anyone looking to read your Bibke in a year or just be more consistent with reading times. It's always good to have a plan.

DA Carson's Bible Devotional Blog - Evangelical theologian and professor of the New Testament D.A. Carson has a daily blog that goes through different books of the Bible with short descriptions of chosen texts. This devotional blog offers great insight into reading.

Olive Tree, Logos - Because everyone and their Grandmother has an iPhone these days, we thought it would be helpful to post to these free iPhone apps. Olive Tree and Logos are two easy to use Bible softwares that give you instant Bible access right on your iPhone.

Here are some links to sermons, articles, commentaries and teaching on the Bible. These insights will be helpful in better understanding scripture, cultivating diligence as well as passion for God's word and just an overall joy in knowing the message that God has given to us. While we could build a library of resources and content, we thought it most helpful to give you some good overviews and introductions for Bible doctrine:

We also want to equip you to better understand the broad scope of the Bible still being centrally about the person and work of Jesus Christ. As Vaughn Roberts explains in his book God's Big Picture, the entire Bible is about the Kingdom of God. From Eden to Israel to the early church to today, different parts of the Bible explain the history, present time and future kingdom that is in Jesus Christ. We recommend Roberts' book as well a look at a diagram timeline that hopefully will help you better understand the Bible as a whole.
